A non-profit school, owned by Grace Episcopal Church, Grace Montessori School is committed to striving for social justice and to do what we can towards improving the quality of life for the people of the Lehigh Valley. This commitment causes us to work to secure money for our scholarship fund so that we can offer scholarships to 30 percent of our students whose families could not otherwise afford to give them the quality education we provide. Our commitment also drives us to contribute to the redevelopment efforts of downtown Allentown, where we have developed our state-of-the art sites for both our primary school and our elementary classroom and where we wish to expand our elementary school into the building across Lumber Street from the primary site.
There are three Grace Montessori School funds to which you may wish to make donations, which are completely tax deductible.
You may contribute to our Scholarship Fund, which provides money to poor children to attend our school. You may contribute to our Endowment Fund, which helps us to manage our future growth and to keep tuition increases at a minimum. You may also contribute to our Professional Development Fund, which collects funds to be utilized by our teachers in attending conferences and seminars and taking courses to improve their knowledge and skills.
Many companies offer matching gift programs to help their employees increase the impacts of their charitable giving. You may wish to check with your employer to see if you are able to participate in such a program. All donations are tax deductible.
